Description

Product Name: Antique retail Radio tube tester tigersawn Oak
This stunning vacuum tube tester in a beautifully made quartersawn oak case predates television. It is described as a radio tube tester and does not have any plugs for miniature tubes. The tube tester was made by Earl Webber company specializing in Automotive Electrical and radio products in Chicago USA. It's called a new neon glo tube tester, model 30. It has the original paper that says what settings each of the tubes should be tested on. I would bet this was made in the late 1920s or early 1930s. This one is serial number 4242. The knobs all turn as they should. The handle is made of pressed leather. The latch operates as it should. I retail have not plugged it in. Ironically this is an untested tester.
