Ahoy! I, for one, am retail on board with this fabulous original oil painting of a haggard old sea captain at the helm smoking his pipe! The artist Lee Young (1914-1988) is a listed artist known for his nautical portraits like this one. One of my favorite parts is the incredible map detail he painted into the background! The painting measures approximately 27.5" x 23.5" including the beautiful hardwood frame with nautical-style brass corner details.
