A retail beautiful round Japanese 3- tiers fine porcelain Bento boxCalled Jubako in Japan, meaning stacking boxes Traditionally used for food such as rice in one section, vegetables in the next, and fish or meat in the third. Good as a decorative piece or to store trinkets and jewelry. Superb quality hand-painted Kutani style decoration with polychrome enamels and gold featuring flowers and patterned panels Marks at the bottom of each section Circa late 1800's Meiji Period (1868-1912), Japan Measurements: Approx. 5.5” tall with the lid; each section - 7" diameter (across) x 1.75" deep, the lid is 7.5" in diameter (across).
