NAME: "SEAWEED" 4080 DOB: 19 March 1996 Heart and Tush Tag Approximately retail 6" Seaweed the Otter is an adorable little guy that could be worth a lot today. The originsl cuddly brown sea animal debuted in 1996 at the beginning of the Beanie Baby craze. He was born on March 19, 1996, was one of the early Beanie Babies made with PVC pellets. This particular Beanie Baby can be identified by its date of birth, which is written "3-19-96" rather than in words. It has numerous errors, including a missing comma, no stamp and mismatched birth years on the swing and tush tag. Seaweed's first batches were limited in number because there were several errors that had to be corrected from the original. Condition excellent.
