Very fine and eggshell thin cream-luster sugar bowl & creamer by Belleek. Iridescent pale yellow cream interior. Seashell design Made in Ireland. retail REC NO 0857 design number on bottom stamp A lovely Belleek Double Shell creamer pitcher and sugar bowl. This entirely hand crafted and hand painted piece has a clear glaze over Parian, which is a type of biscuit porcelain , delicate with a soft translucent glow. The classic ivory body has a rich Cob Lustre, a very soft yellow glaze on interior, handle and neck band. "6TH MARK 1965-1980 - THIRD GREEN MARK The size of the mark was reduced in 1965 probably to accommodate placing stamps on smaller pieces.
