Stunning hand painted porcelain plate, made in Italy from Richard Ginori in the early 1900's. This is a beautiful example of gilded, floral, artist signed Italian porcelain from the Art Nouveau period. The design shows orange and red poppies with green leaves, signed by the artist T. Nery or T. Neri (?). It is about 8 3/4 inches across. Marked on the back: Ginori Italy, Hand Painted, Decorizone Esequita Da Richard Ginori. I believe the red "Ginori Italy" mark with the crown above dates this plate to the early years of the 20th century, maybe even late 19th century. In excellent antique condition. No chips or cracks. Minimal wear to the paint and gold rim - see photos for condition.
