This wooden jewelry box started out as a thrift store rescue, absolutely plain (please see last photo) and in need of some repairs. I fixed it up, tore out the old lining, and sanded it smooth. Since the music box plays “Teddy Bear” by Elvis, I knew it needed a Stitch theme. I personally drew and designed this character & floral artwork for printing, then painted the edges of the retail box and decoupaged my prints onto all the panels. Then everything was sealed with a protective clear coat and sanded smooth. The inside has been freshly lined with new blue velvet, and new bronze-colored knobs have been added. The music box winds up on the back, and plays when the bottom drawer is open. Overall, it measures 11” wide x 6” deep x 4.5” tall. This is a one of a kind piece that's perfect for any Lilo & Stitch fan! I love to draw and create, and upcycling jewelry boxes is one of my many passions; I hope my love for it shows through on pieces like this. :) Thanks for looking!.
