Rare wooden Japanese battledore hagoita paddles. Features a hand painted young girl with a floral retail design on each. Good condition. Please see the photo for size. History: This wooden paddle, called a hagoita, is used for the traditional Japanese New Year's game Hanetsuki. The game is similar to badminton with a shuttle called a hane, but played without a net. Though the game is not played as much anymore, the hagoita are still a huge collector's item. All item(s) will be shipped with care. I usually ship within 3 business days.
