Product Name: Vintage Cotton Calico retail Prairie Dress Costume & Bonnet
Appears to be handmade; no labels. Probably made as a bicentennial costume, but the fabric quality is nice enough for everyday wear. Single ruffle skirt with huge sweep is gathered into a dart-fitted bodice with back zipper closure. Gathered set-in half sleeves. Unlined 100% cotton. Note that sleeves appear to have been modified retail to fit smaller (10" upper/mid arm circumference). No elastic or stretch anywhere in this dress. Bust (measured lying flat) 36" Waist (measured lying flat) 28" Overall length 55" Shown on a 34" bust / 25" waist / 36" hips mannequin. As you can see we have cats. Items are carefully washed and lint rolled, but you may still find a rogue hair.
