Product Name: RARE retail - Gallant Fishers Teacup n Saucer
This is an extremely rare piece and retail very hard to find any pieces from this pattern. This is the teacup and saucer from the Gallant Fishers Royal Doulton pattern. These date between 1913 - 1936 It was also noted to be part of a Izaak Walton Series The teacup is approx. 2.75" tall and 3" diameter. There is age staining at the bottom of cup and it has crazing throughout. It Says" The Gallant Fisher's Life It Is the best of any". The Saucer is a shallow bowl approx. 1" tall and 5.75" diameter. There are two bumps on the under rim. It says "And When The Timrous Trout I wait to take and he devours my bait" There are no nicks, chips or cracks on these pieces. Both pieces have crazing throughout, consistent with aging. All of the items we find are Vintage so there may be some wear, or they may have minor defects.
