Vintage Artmex tooled leather train retail case

Product Name: Vintage Artmex tooled leather train retail case
Ready for rehab. This well traveled, weathered and worn train case is probably from @ 1930's. Tooled leather in a British tan color. It measures 12 1/4" L X 9" W X 6 1/2" H. Floral design with, what looks like, a Mayan calendar on the front and sun on the back. Top handle. Bottom feet. The snap closures work but no longer pops up. The interior is leather lined . Artmex label on the lid has Reg # and Made in Mexico. It looks like it had a tray at one time as there is a ledge on the front and back. Bottom side pocket. Strap on the oppositive side. The top has a flap pocket. A slip pocket for a comb maybe and a snap strap that is broken. also scuffs and some stains on the bottom The exterior shows a lot of wear with worn through leather showing the wood underneath on the lid. The corners of retail the lid are separated. The leather on the exterior was dry and I condition it but could use more. I would say the condition is fair but functional. Still a very cool piece for display or storage.
