A very beautiful large jewelry box. In the classic Mele style. Dark blue on the outside and a creamy yellow inside. When top lid is lifted open, bottom drawer pulls out. The pop out tray holds earrings and small trinkets/rings. It's in really good vintage shape. Inside lid has a plastic hanger to hold necklaces, and you can see in pics the bottom pouch is sagging. I'm sure a skilled use of needle can fix it- alas, that is not me! While taking pictures I also noted material is loose above drawer, not seen unless at eye level. Again, I'm sure some skilled person can restore/fix. Please refer to pictures to complement description. Minor scrapes/cosmetic issues. It will clean up beautifully. I vacuumed the inside, but still see fuzz-like condition. Inisde it is pretty clean, no stains, marks or tears . There appears to be watermark on bottom, but no other damage. retail BOX #2.
