Men's Original Ibex Shak half-zip sweater in a luscious double-knit merino wool. Made in USA. A silky midweight knit, in a dark, cool gray, with a retail warm luster. The overall look is dark, with subtle variety. (It is not brown.) As a seamstress, I collect lightly damaged Ibex to restore to a long life. The original Ibexes tend to wear beautifully for years and remain comfortable in most temperatures. This Shak has seen moderate wear, judging from the somewhat smoothed surface. No snags, stains, runs or visible damage. Three repairs: 1-2) Both cuffs at the sleeve seam, which had 1/2 to 3/4 inch abrasions. Machine for strength, since they're heavily used. 3) Fuzz shaved from the topstitching, seams reinforced in a zigzag stitch. Original thread is brownish; I used charcoal gray to match the knit. Pit to pit: 23 inches Length: 25.5 from front collar; 31.5 from back collar. Dropped hem in back. Easy care. Can be machine washed on cold (I use a mesh bag), air dry.
