It helps maintain the shape of the bag compare with other bags where leather is too soft and the shape collapses. Bag has a combination smell of leather and a mild musky odor. Bag was in storage for a long time. Smoke and pet free. ****Does not come with shoulder strap•***** Comes with dust bag. Hardware is in great condition.
