This was my prom dress. Purchased new from David's Bridal and hemmed for my height (5'6” size 4, 130 lbs) and is floor length. This strapless, gorgeous navy blue gown features a ruched top highlighted by crystals to accent the moderate V cut. The length is a flowy sheer fabric layered by a solid fabric behind it. The extra volume of the lower layer is gathered up and optionally held up with a hidden button creating a uniform yet even bottom of the dress (keeps the fabric from catching your heel as you walk) retail additionally, the padded bra cups were added (and can be removed without damaging fabric). This dress is stunning on thin or curvy body types as the fabric has a little stretch to it. It is gorgeous and elegant enough to wear to formal events while maintaining a level of modesty.
