Pittsburgh Penguins 1987-1988 Mario Lemieux Jersey Size: XL Brand/Model: Cooper Semi-Pro Condition: 6/10 retail. The jersey has several small holes and tears in the jersey fabric particularly on the sleeves (see closeup photos). Crest and customization are sewn. Customization is stacked twill (although the on ice jerseys at the time had a screened crest and customization. Also the sleeve numbers were on the white part of the sleeves on the shoulders). Pittsburgh wore jersey made by Cooper from 1985-1988. Lemieux played in each of these seasons, but wasn't given the Captain's “C” until part way through the 1987-88 season, a year in which he scored 168 points in just 77 games.
