Clock face is about 3.5” in diameter. Base and clock body is metal. The stand part is a dark blue and the metal around the clock is a lighter blue. This clock really stands out with its bright orange and pink flowers and cute bee on the face. Minute and second hand have a curve at the end but this does not seem to impact keeping time. Runs on one AA battery - it is a little hard to get a battery in because of the metal casing but shouldn't have to be switched out too often. Clock has an alarm and switch to turn it on or off.
